I keep getting indeed recommendations for jobs. I apply to them because they seem like a good fit. This one I applied to, I was sent a recommendation email for them.
I googled them their hours are M-F: 7AM – 3PM. Seems like something I could do. But I noticed in the description one of the bullet points was “weekend availability.” I assumed that was a optional and if they were to contact me I would take the 8 hour M-F shift. Same thing with bullet points that list 4 hour shift, 8 hour shift, part time. I assumed they were being “flexible.”
I sent my application, and they got back to me via indeed that they’re not gonna move forward with my application! I’m getting sick of this waste of time. It’s factually stupid that I keep getting sent “recommendations” for jobs to apply to, yet 98% of them end up rejecting my app in less than weeks time.
Sick of it. There needs to be feedback for this kind of thing, to let either indeed recruiters or the employer to stop leading people on in a deceptive manner. You companies are sooooo desperate for people, according to your endless cries on social media. But when people actually send you resumes. You get picky all of a sudden. Make up your mind and stop wasting time of people who are trying to work, make more money, and better their lives.
If you don’t wanna hire people, don’t have postings on job sites. It’s that simple. If you don’t wanna check applications, don’t post that you’re hiring. If it’s a PPP loan thing, you should be revoked from having it.
