I make 7.50 plus .33 plus shitty tips. Lost my high paying job. Domino’s is the only one that called me back.
District manager comes in today and says I’m out of dress code. I have black cargo shorts on but the material is like sweat pants. Been there two week and no one said anything to me.
I tell her I am struggling to pay my bills.
She says we get paid on Friday.
I’ve already done the math and I’m looking at $500.
Just one of my bills is $500 alone.
I tell her I’m sorry I’m already broke from fridays paycheck.
She says and I fucking quote ‘I hope you make enough tips then’
The fact that she knows they are not paying a livable wage and make me depend on customers tips is just fucking crazy to me.
Needless to say I won’t be here another two weeks.
