So I left my toxic workplace about a month ago, terrible management, nutty coworkers, benefits that did not benefit me (free gym memberships don't appeal to me when I work at the place all damn day and just want to go home). I found out my old boss at the bakery was hiring and thought it sounded like a great idea but then I found out the guy I was having problems with is still there, he wouldn't let me have a proper lunch break, had a major power trip problem, blamed everyone around him for his mistakes. Well I was randomly scrolling indeed and found a position for overnights that pays $2 more plus 10% for being overnight, I have experience in warehouse work, hours work better to spend time with my fiance due to his schedule. Long story short, the pros outweight the one con of having to adjust my sleep schedule a bit. I sent in an application but if I get approved what's an appropriate and professional way to let the bakery know I am not interested any further.
I do not have a confirmed start date for the bakery, no paperwork signed, no new training done yet, worst case I guess I could go in and see how it works and go from there but I don't want to regret my decision
