Stupidest boss on the planet

Holy shit, I just got off of work and it was the most infuriating shift I've had since I started there. To set the scene, I work at a restaurant in a historical area of town, so we get very busy. Today was 55⁰F and windy. I'm talking gusts of up to 70 MPH. So, I go in, and I'm already in a worse mood than normal because of a coffee incident. I see that we no longer have our mats in the front. Okay, no big deal, the assistant gm must've put it away, it's not supposed to be raining today anyways. But there's leaves everywhere. So, I clock in, and start sweeping. I knew today would mostly be sweeping, so I didn't mind. But, because of the wind, every single god damn time someone opened the door, or it blew strong enough to open it, the wind would…

But, because of the wind, every single god damn time someone opened the door, or it blew strong enough to open it, the wind would push more dirt and leaves inside. After the third time sweeping in an hour, I told the assistant gm, and foh manager I wasn't gonna spend 75% of my shift sweeping. People will understand, they both said it's fine, I can't control it. Besides, I have other things to do.

After about three hours, we're slowing down from lunch and the GM comes from the expo line and sees how messy it got. He started yelling at me saying it was my job to keep the entry way clean, and I was no longer allowed to leave the host stand area to do anything other than seat people, and I had to keep it clean. He continues on saying he won't get a bad review because of my laziness, and how I need to do better.

I just grabbed a broom and started sweeping. We started getting busy again, but by this time, we only had one server on the floor. I was supposed to get them water, and get them any non-alcoholic beverages, but now all I could do was drop menus and walk away. No one helped the server, and I ended up apologizing and explaining what happened. It was just a really difficult day.
