Retail Store:
No AC broke and the average indoor temp is 80-90. We are required to wear suits and they have given us some leeway (let us come in polos as opposed to button down and tie).
To add insult to injury the water fountains stopped working.
I had to leave early (Im awful in heat) and a few other coworkers as well numerous times. Manager lets execs know, they don't do shit.
We have had families leave out of concern for their children with it being so hot and all. Called the city zoning and code office ? but couldn't get a person and when they did I ended up at a voicemail….
Any insight, worth pursuing?
