I've been at my architect & design company for just over 3 years now. In the last year they've taken away a lot of our small quality of life benefits, like our education fund, laid off about 18% of our design staff and just announced that they are “pausing compensation reviews for now”. We are going on a year and a half of no cost of living adjustments. They raised all of our client bill rates in January and yet STILL can't give us meager raises? Even our “profit sharing bonus” was garbage this year (but the co-owner bought a new house). Do I bother waiting around to see what changes or jump ship? I know the job market is trash right now, but my moral is so fucking low.
