Need some advice here or suggestions!
I need a mental break and have a doctors note for it. My concern is I am my bosses back up when he is away and he is going away for two weeks and I really need a break bad ever since getting called back into office, having a mental break down and all the commuting I have done. Should I just take the break and leave him in the dust or wait it out until he is back? I have been working here for 16 years and recently got called back into office five days because of new company policy for all employees. Only the elite seem to have the right to work remotely.
Take the time off now or wait? It will be unpaid sick leave per doctor for two weeks.
I do have a coworker that can do my job when I am minus the being the boss back up.
