Hello everyone,
I live in Texas and recently was hired for a 100% Telework position (it is noted as 100% in the work application).
Well recently management scheduled a mandatory in person meeting at our HQ, which is 6 hours away from me and others. Management rely just because a position is telework that doesn't mean we don't have to attend required meetings and “reminded” us that they could revoke telework at any time.
Is this allowed as the work application states 100% telework and the hiring manager had relayed to me that the plan was to remain completely virtual when I was hired?
