Telling a higher level supervisor, “You are about to lose all of your clerks.”

This happened about a year ago and boy was I right. The bigwig had come out to our clinic to listen to the nurses bitch but nobody was paying attention to the clerical staff. All of us were interviewing for other positions, some of us (including me) had already given notice. He'd been stuck in a conference room with nurses coming in and out, with a “pretending to give a fuck” look on his face the whole time. Then I went in there, spoke my peace about the clerical staffing situation. His eyes popped. Suddenly, he gave a fuck. They had to divide out my duties to four other people when I left, but those people all quit.
