The devil and miss Jones.

This movie is great! It’s about union organizing and they show captive audience meetings and it really shows you that things haven’t changed one bit! They still criminalize fighting for the working class to this day. As I see the progress we’ve made being beat back by capital (Starbucks closing unionized stores, they won’t get a dime from me until they change their ways) I was struck by the way management in the movie calls the workers a “big family.” It was filmed in 1941! Incredible how capital reaches into the same bag of emotionally manipulative tricks 82 years later. Please watch this movie and discuss!
