The most dehumanizing thing to me about customer service jobs.

Not sure if it’s just my country or everywhere but the notion of instant service. Even let’s say you were about to start eating your lunch but a customer comes into your place on employment and you’re instantly obligated to drop it and assist them. It could even be you’re sending a really important message but then an obligation related to serving your customers emerges, then your can never get back around to what you needed to say. Maybe it’s also my lack of boundaries. I feel like I’ve just been trained to be this way and customers even seem to expect it many times.
