The NLRB needs your help!

Many of the posts in this community are fantastic examples of workers advocating for thier rights. In the US, the right to engage in protected concerted activities related to working conditions and conditions of employment is safeguarded by the National Labor Relations Board. When your employer retaliates against you for sharing salary, it is the NLRB that takes them to court. When your employer refuses to recognize your union, it is the NLRB that orders them to the table. When your Union refuses to process your grievance, it is the NLRB that orders them to do thier job. Without the board, workers rights would be greatly reduced in practice. The recent efforts of this community and others accross the country have given the board a lot of work. However, the Agency's budget has been flat for 9 years. It now looks like the board will have a shortfall and may…

Without the board, workers rights would be greatly reduced in practice. The recent efforts of this community and others accross the country have given the board a lot of work. However, the Agency's budget has been flat for 9 years. It now looks like the board will have a shortfall and may furlough busy staff.
