I ask the mods to leave this up please, as the fate of the world is kinda on the line.
I think this is the best place to rant/vent cause of you folks leanings. Now I can’t do all too much rn in my life due to certain disabilities but I do love to try occasionally which is why I’m posting this to try and reach people.
For starters, I think we’re really doing this all wrong by relying on politicians and other actors on the world stage to solve the environmental problems. I say we create our own movement, organically, where we all can have OUR own symbol and OUR own flag to rally behind, and not let it get hijacked by opportunists and malefactors. We can gather as many people as possible and maybe even create our own political party.
I’m feeling really down while creating this, because I feel like just thinking about doing stuff to save the world won’t work, that we must do something before, if possible, to save what we can of the earth. What I’m proposing is a popular front of sorts. Dm or comment if you want to try to do something about the state of the world.
I plead with you all to at least try to do something, as the consequences of not succeeding might be very dire.
