I can't share too much because I want to maintain my anonymity, but recently my constantly shortstaffed subdivision announced that they will be re-budgeting in order to give all current and future employees a raise of approximately 15-20% and changing the operating hours/shifts to be easier on the workers.
This will make a meaningful impact on our (the workers') lives, and it will probably help a lot with our staffing issues.
Plenty of employers are feeling the pressure. The smart and proactive ones will adapt. Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well and that the pressure on the corporations continues strongly.
