Context, I've been at this company almost two years and it does not give a shit about its employees. I do, and I'm damn vocal about it. I've been denied promotions for moving out of this position multiple times usually for the reasons of, “I don't fit the team's needs” (read, I'm not a mind reader, and need to be told what people want) and, “I need to do more of the work I want to be a part of” (I already do all the work of a position people insist can only be done by two people and still find time to assist coworkers.)
I dunno what else to think, this is them trying to find a way to fire me, right? Why else would they want me to create training docs for my own position without guaranteeing me the promotion I've been asking for?
