Tips for resignation?

So at the beginning of May this year I started a new job that I originally was really excited about, I had been longing to get an office job again after a really long time (I know, most people find office jobs horrid). But truth is that even after the first day I knew I was not going to complete the whole 1 year of the job let alone renew the contract afterwards. I can't quite say why, the vibes are just not there. Maybe I am spoiled from loving my previous job as a substitute librarian too much. But this job straight up SUCKS. They gave me a laptop and an office in a corner and left me completely alone. But this job straight up SUCKS. They gave me a laptop and an office in a corner and left me completely alone. Nothing to do besides “read up on the project teams channel”. Neither my supervisor nor my “mentor” checks up on me. I am literally spending all day just listening to podcasts and doing nothing until I can go home. And while it seems ideal I hate the feeling of wasting my own time. I want to take myself seriously.

I have a 14 day resignation time, but to be honest I don't want to spend another day at this place let alone 2 weeks. I am not really strapped for cash either so this job is not strictly necessary.

What can I do to be able to get out immediately? I have been thinking about just taking vacation, but in case it gets denied… any tips?
(I live in Norway)
