Full disclosure I live on on Lond Island, NY so cost of living is embarrassingly high. Their starting wage is $16.48 which is paltry. Target/While Foods/Harbor Freight in town start 16 year olds at $17. The ad I answered said hours would vary but to be available Monday-Thursday from 9-530 and Friday 9-1. I called to cancel my interview and reveied a rude message this morning that this is only a part time job and if I expect more I should look for full time work. You are quoting people to be available for what would be the bulk of full time work. Additionally this is an 18+ job in a warehouse freezer that they are seeking year round work for. Maybe you can get that from a college student in a pinch but in what Long Island 2023 world would you expect full time availability for a part time job that pays well below average and then call the person and leave a rude message when they point it out?
