Top 10 reasons I quit jobs in my life…so far

Hey everyone, M22 here. Below are the top 10 reasons that made me quit jobs even though there are other reasons as well. A decrease in salary. The general manager coming in, in a brand new Ford Raptor(Worth 6 years of my salary)that he bought with the bonus he earned for saving the company a lot of money, money he saved by cutting all of the staff salary in half, made me learn my lesson. (The communique read: “Salary decrease for staffs due to hard times caused by Covid 19”). Salary not as expected. A company gave me less money that we agreed on contract because it's a “Progressive Salary” never mentioned before signing the contract or written in it. So the salary advertised and discussed would be accessible after 1 year in the company. Uhhhhh No, fuck that. Racism. Told me black people are supposed to work harder and…

Hey everyone, M22 here. Below are the top 10 reasons that made me quit jobs even though there are other reasons as well.

  2. Salary not as expected. A company gave me less money that we agreed on contract because it's a “Progressive Salary” never mentioned before signing the contract or written in it. So the salary advertised and discussed would be accessible after 1 year in the company. Uhhhhh No, fuck that.

  3. Racism. Told me black people are supposed to work harder and that I should be grateful for getting an office job.

  4. Increase in workload or duty. I learned the hard way that the reward for good work is more work. The manager refused to remunerate me more for more work, saying if others are doing it, I should too.

  5. Being constantly on my back. Given a 45 mins job, and boss expected it to be done in 20 mins. He repeatedly said “Do it faster” or “If it was me, it would have already been done by now” or “You're taking too much time” then pushing it by tapping my shoulder. He earned a well deserve backhand to his nuts.

  6. Telling me work is more important than my life outside of work. “It's not work that should accomodate your personal life, but your personal life that should accomodate work”. Yeah, like I live just to work huh?

  7. Not giving me my scheduled (And agreed 1 month prior) days off. Sorry but I'm not working on my day off. Never. I don't care if you have a labour shortage or X just announced she is sick.

  8. Manager saying I spend too much time in the toilet. I have IBS and taking 10 mins or a little more was too much toilet time according to him.

  9. Reducing my break/lunch time because customers were coming in at that time. We closed the shop 30 mins late because customers were coming in. Instead of moving the lunch time 30 mins after the normal lunch ending time, this dickhead of a boss tells us to eat fast and come in at the usual hour. We didn't and he threw a tantrum.

  10. Boss's wife calls me in her office to tell me “Stop talking to customers. I saw you on camera. You are here to work. If there is no work, find something to do.” Was there to work as an automobile technician and the client was telling me his car was turning off everytime he was changing to 3rd gear. I tried to explain it to her but her reponse was “Time is money and you should be spending your time working, not talking.”
