Currently love my job and what I do, but the work environment at my job is getting worse and I’m also getting underpaid for someone in my position. Not to mention the gas money I spend commuting everyday, around 80-90 mile round trip, I can barely afford the gas to get to work.
We’ve also had mandatory schedule changes and pay changes with zero notice.
Potentially have a job lined up where I’m not as excited about the work but starting out I can make the same money and potentially more, company car/gas card and I’d be able to be home alot more. Just defeating after investing so much time and energy into something I’m interested in but can’t even get enough of a raise to pay for gas. Hoping I’m making the right decision. Sorry for the rant
