So I’m massively underpaid , and I realize that a future new hire will be making thousands more than me for the same position and I’ll probably have to train them.
I know many will say I should quit or ask for a raise immediately. I’ve decided to wait for a better offer so I can force them to make a quicker decision on raising my salary or letting me leave to work for someone else.
So… other than deciding to do a lot less work , I’ve also decided to steal a freshly wrapped tablet device as a concession. It’s not on our records so it doesn’t really exist. So it’s mine.
I kinda feel bad because I don’t usually steal since it’s ‘immoral’.
But here’s the thing , even if they raised my salary to an acceptable level , I think I’d still probably keep the thing I stole.
Is that bad?
