Unemployment question, kinda long

I took a retail job last May. Started the week before mother's day. My friend told me where she worked they needed help during mother's day week. At the time I was out of work so I said sure. The owner liked me and wanted to keep me on for good. While I was working there I was still looking for a full-time job that was closer to home. This job was 33 minutes away during the time also when gas prices were astronomical around here. Also I have three young children one of them I had to pick up everyday after school so I would be out of this job by 4:30 so I can pick my child up from aftercare. In the beginning of October I found a place that suited me where I had experience in that field and it wasn't retail, also it was right around…

In the beginning of October I found a place that suited me where I had experience in that field and it wasn't retail, also it was right around the corner from where I live less than 5 minutes away and right down the street from my child's school. I go in for an interview one day and they want to hire me. I let them know I had no computer skills for that programs they were using. I do production I'm more Hands-On, I probably told the guy three times that I never worked on a computer with the kind of programs they have. He wanted to hire me but there was a catch, he told me I had to quit my job the next day and start after the weekend. I thought it was kind of weird and it made me nervous and I've never left the job without giving them two weeks notice so I thought it was kind of messed up but I figured it would be better for my family it was close to home. I go into work the next day towards the middle of the day I tell my boss I'm sorry but I'm going to have to have this be my last day that I was happy to work there and I had fun there and if I had an issue with this new job would she take me back. And she said yes. So I start the new job the next week I'm there for two full days, the third day I go in they have me go into the office. The owner sits down with me and says what is this on your resume? Spposedly the one word I used on my resume was the same name of a computer program that they use, weird coincidence lol. And again I let him know, I told you at the interview I did not know any computer programs. Basically told me to leave paid me in cash told me to take that off my resume, which was really weird. Never in my life had I had anything like this ever happen, it was just so odd. So I was pretty upset because that was a great opportunity to work closer to home and I basically just walked out on my last job so I call my husband and tell him and he goes call your old job back it's only been 2 days and she said she would take you back. So right away I called my last job back and told him it didn't work out because they miss read something on my resume, which they did, and would you please take me back it's only been 2 days. And of course she gave me the rundown of well if you're looking for a new job and you're going to be leaving you need to give me more notice and I said yes I promise, I had a weird feeling about this job and had a weird feeling it wasn't going to work out but thank you for taking me back and I will not let that happen again. I asked if she wanted me to come back that day or the next day she said come back tomorrow which was a Friday, so basically I missed like 3 days of work it would have been two.

So I'm back at my old job for just about a month or more. She treated me like a different person the whole time I was there, it was like I was a whole new employee that she didn't like and she tortured me. When the first few months I was there she acted almost like a friend . We never had any issues. (I'd also like to add since I came back I was sick for 1 or 2 days in a row and I asked to use some of my sick leave so I could get paid for those days and I got it.) The last day I'm there she's taking product that I'm cleaning and dumping it right at my feet and telling me to go through it again, very childish and angry. While I was cleaning product her and the other two employees disappeared for like maybe 10 minutes and she comes back out of nowhere and goes why didn't you come to the attic and help us? I was like I didn't know you guys were getting stuff out of the attic, no one told me that because I was here cleaning your product, she goes well I asked you to help. I go no you didn't you said nothing to me I didn't even know where you guys went. She's rushing me telling me I'm not fast enough doing everything wrong. I needed to go outside and spray paint her product and it's windy as crap outside. I've come in and out three or four times telling her it's not working cuz it's so windy outside. So towards the end of the day she tells me to come up front to the store in this little area and she starts talking to me about how I'm working that day which was no different than any other day in the past, and she's not happy so she's sorry but she has to let me go. Now again my friend who works there who got me the job there has warned me about this woman that she's very mean and she will fire you at the drop of a hat for any little thing. My frriend has been there for 5 years and she said that she has gone through at least 50 employees since she worked there, and this is a very small Mom and Pop shop, so 3 to maybe 5 employees top. So she's seen it all. I'm a 44 year old woman and I've never been fired from a job my entire life. So I grab my stuff I leave and I don't even understand what just happened because I pretty much didn't do anything wrong. This is also 4 days before Thanksgiving. First thing I do when I get home is file for unemployment. Now I had to wait a good 2 months until I had to do the phone call and I get rejected. Her reason was I walked out on my own and misconduct. When I was never taken off of payroll I was able to use my sick leave that I accumulated from when I started in May, and she fired me.

So my question for anybody here is who is in the right and who is in the wrong? She hired me back after 2 days and I was never taken off of payroll. I don't know where unemployment stands on this kind of issue. But she's basically just saying that I walked out and misconduct which there was no misconduct, I've never had a misconduct in my entire life either, just makes me sound like I'm some criminal lol. I swear the woman just hired me back for a month to mess with me like this to torture me because I left her when she wasn't even busy and she really didn't even need me. Just to spite me because I effed her over she had to f me over. So I don't understand why she took me back after those two days then. So my other question is now that it's been 6 months from my first phone call with unemployment, I appealed that claim to redo it again and I waited these 6 months to get a letter back about the appointment date for the appeal, so is it worth trying to fight or am I fighting a losing battle? And just so everyone here knows since February I've been working at a awesome job, (not retail) probably the most awesome job I've had in my entire life and I really love it.
