I am working a seasonal job (been there for about a month) and requested off 2 days (unpaid) to go to a wedding. My request was denied.
I am absolutely going to this wedding, so I'm wondering what I should do.
The schedule will be released on Wednesday. Should I wait and see if someone will cover my shifts? Or should I just go ahead and put in notice?
I don't really need the job, so it's not a big deal. I just feel bad quitting after being put on the schedule as I know my work friends will be the ones having to cover.
