Hi! Idk if you remember me but I’m back! So here’s somethings: I booked my trip during a different time, just as they had asked! Just not during the week of 4th of July like they pushed on me 🙂
So I told them it was booked and they both looked at me like I m*rdered their cat or something. “That’s a REALLY busy time for us. We have a big deadline during that time! We talked about this!”
Keep in mind I’m a 21 YEAR OLD PART TIME COLLEGE STUDENT. PART TIME. PART TIME. COLLEGE STUDENT. I WORK 4 FULL DAYS A WEEK. Yet I get whipped with the full time duties cause they can’t find someone to work full time 🥰 due to their snobby and horrible attitudes. No one said the week I was going was a busy time and oh…last time I checked the dates my boyfriend and I selected are in TWO MONTHS. That gives you TWO MONTHS to figure something out 🤔
They are acting like I am an owner or something and that I need to be present at all times. They even make little snarky comments about my Wednesdays off which I have emphasized over and over again are due to my SCHOOLING. It’s not my fault you can’t find other people. My last day is going to be in July anyways when I completely my certification and qualify for a job. Whether I have one by that point or not I’m done with this place.
My bosses went as far as to say that my boyfriend is “controlling” me for booking it during that time. My blood was boiling at that point and they were lucky that I kept my cool. And they even brought my parents into it (they run a business too) and they were like “well how would they feel if this happened to them!” In my head i was damn near laughing cause they run a completely different business than them.
My parents run a business that is actually super important and actually has employees because they TAKE CARE of them rather than my grumpy bosses who run a business that’s not a necessity at all and don’t take care of their employees. (I get it’s their business so it’s their baby though )
We have a full time guy whose in his own little category and even he stood up for me. If I didn’t have him or care about the other people I worked with, I probably would have walked out on the spot.
