If I learned anything from this sub, it is to tell my administration certain things, not ask.
Earlier this week it was pouring rain and 40mph gusts on my 10 minute walk to work. My umbrella had a engineering failure halfway and my jeans were drenched.
The student uniforms include sweat pants so I borrowed a pair for the day. This is my text: “I was drenched during my walk to work. I am wearing a pair of uniform sweatpants and will change back to my jeans when they finish drying. Thanks for understanding!”
I may have to start making rainy days special occasions by ditching the umbrella so I can wear sweats.
