Well,
Today was the day that my boss told me he is giving me until April 1st to either find another job or improve how I “act” and maybe will get to keep my current position.
Addressing my comments from the original post:
1. I did not use anyone sick days since this post.
2. He did switch me to hourly in December because of my doctor appointments. For context: I had asked him over and over again for the health insurance information that the company provides. As I have depression and other chronic illnesses, I do go to the doctor office a lot. My health insurance was in the state over (a 2 hour drive from my job). Because he failed to give me any information on said health insurance, I decided to stick with the other state one and therefore had to go to another state on Mondays/Fridays whenever I had appointments. (My doctors are not open on the weekends).
3. He told me he has never seen me stay past 5 after our original conversation. This is A LIE. I stayed 99% of the time at work during my lunch hours (aka unpaid overtime) and never left the office at or before 5pm. It was always 5:30+ that I would leave. Yet he claims I never stayed?? Absolute bullshit.
4. I had told him about how I was working through some personal problems and health conditions, which has affected my work or the way that I come across (tired and unmotivated at times). I thought we had an understanding but nope, we did not.
5. Boss called me immature and unpassionate about the job. Claims he’s never seen an entry level fresh out of college have so little motivation. Also told me that I had performance problems in computer programs even though those said programs, I help out the new coworker who started in November.
6. Told me I clearly prioritize my family and health over work. …as if that’s a bad thing.

I have done a lot of reflecting since the original post. I’m fed up. I’m tired of people telling me I need to find a job that I am passionate about and happy in. Guess what? I don’t have any! My biggest joys in life is down time and relaxing. I don’t have any passions or hobbies that I am good at.

I don’t fit into corporate culture. I don’t fit into 8-5 workdays. My personality type, INFP, makes this difficult for me too. Why do we have to pretend to be enthusiastic every work day in our jobs? I’m here for a paycheck and to get things done, but no overtime. I’m sick of this.

Now I have two months to find a job and try not to move back home like a loser. I don’t know where to go or what to do. I feel so lost and just like another person floating through life.
