Need to vent…..I work in a job where my supervisor came from another department. They been with my department for 3 years. They do not know how to do any of the jobs within the department…..which honestly baffles me that they have gotten away with it for the past 3 years. They can do little things but nothing to ever really help us out when we are swamped…..like now. I seriously don’t know what they do all day except maybe attend meetings and running reports. I am the one always training our new hires because she doesn’t know how to do the job. One of my co workers went out on maternity leave a month ago and we just got a temp to help us. Guess who’s training them…..
I have never worked in a position where the person who is above me can’t do my job. The temp actually asked me why the supervisor wasn’t training her……I was honest.
I want to “tell” on my supervisor to HR or her boss. I don’t make her salary but I feel like I’m doing her job. My own work is suffering because I need to spend all day training the new people.
