Vent: Aggravating Clients

I'm not sure which sub to put this in, so I took a guess. If it should go somewhere else, please let me know. I'm a receptionist at a small business. When you call, you tell me what's going on and I send you to one of two departments. If everyone's on calls, I put you on a call log. I ask for your name and phone number, in that order, because that's the order on the log. Do you realize most people don't say their names anymore when they call? When did that stop? Also, when I'm entering the info, 90% of the time they give me their phone number first and then their name. Half the time I have to ask for their name again. The ones that take the cake are the ones that refuse to give their names because you're calling them back on their cells.…
