wages not the same as discussed in interview.

So, as the title suggests, I interviewed for a role. In the interview, wages were discussed. I had my offer last Thursday, and it's 2k less than discussed. This job I was already taking a pay cut from my role currently, but this would be lowering my wage by 3k compared to what I currently receive. It's more disheartening because they raved about being perfect for the role and having more experience than required. Can anyone help with a professional reply that indicates that I would be interested in the role but can not take a real-time loss of 3k given the current state of inflation. I also need to advise that I'm not earning much (25k PA in my current role). They want me to drop to 12p more than the minimum living wage of the UK as of April.
