Walked out without notice, now they cut my pay

Before the new year I had a breakdown and stopped showing up to work. I had a few issues with management and staff and they were aware. It took me a couple of weeks to recover and get in the right frame of mind and I was planning on taking my uniform and explaining the situation/apologizing but I received my paystub today and they dropped my pay to minimum wage. I am paid hourly so it was two days that I worked at $15 an hour. Is this legal?
