As the title. Isn't replacing me with someone else without actually firing me illegal? Is this a labour board thing?
I never had 1 bad word said about me. I asked specifically to get at least 3 hours as they headed into the slow season so that I could continue to get a benifit from my disability income. And owner seems happy to do it. But it's been a month since they let me go without a single hour or response back to my texts asking for minor things (my roe, my tips, a shift)
I figured I'd get a few hours on v day since it's one of the busiest days. Nope.
So can I legally ask for the resume of the guy they replaced me with so I can say 'you ghosted me and replaced me with someone with less experience to do my job. I could've been looking for another job – now you owe me
