Can someone help me? I started going to Academy of Art University in 2018. I came in with an AA in Graphic design. Most of my units transferred and I was going to continue for my bachelor's.
4 years later and 40k+ in loans later, I couldn't do it anymore and transferred to a non profit university. When I informed my advisor about my decision over an email, she said and I quote, “If you stay for __ amount of classes, you would actually have your AA.” I responded, “but I already have an AA. Why would I want 2?”.
She never responded back. And a year after, it's dawning on me. Did they scam me into doing the whole program from scratch? Is this something I could submit a borrowers defense for? I think I saved the email.
