I've been in my current role for 1.5+ years. I've been working remotely, with ~1 week/ month onsite. My offer letter included a relocation bonus, which I never received (or deserved, as I did not relocate) and no other worksite stipulations.
Suddenly, my boss wants me onsite “more”. When pressed for a number, he says 3 weeks/ month. I had no warning of this conversation, but I immediately told him that that schedule would not work for my family. He then says that he understands my position “as a wife and a mother” and that he promises to be transparent during this “transition”. And, that he would love to be a reference.
Did I get fired??? I have a three month notice clause in my contract and I don't want to work anymore if I've been fired.
