Was offered a Promotion, was paid lower than the minimum for that role.

Worked at this org for 5 years. Made my way from Entry Level to a Team Leader. When I was promoted to a Team Leader, I was not happy with the pay. Was exploring the internal portal (workday) and saw that I was getting paid lowered than the base pay range of that role. Reached out to the Manager and the HR. They did nothing except for disabling the option to see the pay range. All the Manager could say was “how did you know” “how did you know”. I eventually quit. I still have proof. Would it worth my time to sue or should I just let it go ?
