Water is polluted at work, they knew, didn’t tell me, I got sick this week

In Tuesday I got severely ill after work. I came home and felt freezing cold when it was 25 C°. My legs were killing me and I kept shivering. I thought I had a flu. Felt like I had a parasite in my brain. I had a pounding headache on the left side of my head. I called in sick on Wednesday. Yesterday I noticed a bill for water purchase at our office due to water pollution on July 31. That was last Thursday, I was there working and I always drink coffee, tea, water from a machine that is connected to the tap water. It just cools the water and puts pressure on it. I didn't really notice it was just tap water actually. But I did always felt like the water and coffee had a bad taste. The bottled water was purchased by my coworker, so I asked…

The bottled water was purchased by my coworker, so I asked him if the pollution had been solved. He kinda laughed and said he had no idea. My manager said in a cynical way to avoid drinking the water. I then remembered that during the meeting that morning I was the only one drinking coffee, which is a first.

I have a feeling that I got sick from the water at work. I sent an email to health and safety to ask if they know about anything. Contaminated water can have detrimental health effects and they just seem to laugh it off.

I googled some news on water contamination in the area and found an article about how a poultry factory polluted the water with grease and oil in February.

Has any of you ever been through this kind of thing? Did you feel like, looking back, the water at work never tasted right and that you felt sick after having their water, tea or coffee? Do you have to pay for your own drinks in order to not dehydrated at work? I feel so unsafe right now and honestly, is there really not a day that a job does not make me ill in some way?

I had finally found a job that doesn't make me mentally ill and of course now they want to feed me contaminated water without a care in the world.

How would I prove any connection between my illness and the water?
