So I don't know if this post is against any rules but it doesn't seem to be. As far as I can see, employers aren't going to change any time soon. And some employers are better than others. But ultimately, the vast majority of bosses are assholes because they want to maximize profits and they think they hold all the cards.
So as far as I can see there are 2 solutions:

organise and unionize. Vote for socialist-inclined candidates in local elections.
