We had a customer die on our works door step, a customer who we have all known for years.

Our head manager said it’s “more of an innocence than anything else” and to keep open regardless of the fact my co-worker and manager watched him die. He was an older guy who died of a heart attack suddenly. He was coming in for his usual. Yet we remained open. “Inconvenience”. Jesus.
