Here's something I learned the hard way after being heavily taken advantaged of at my previous company.
This is a message to any and all managers & employers. I guarantee you with my heart & soul not a single person on this fucking planet is working for you 5-6 days a week because they like being in the office. Every single person is there for one reason and one reason only and that's MONEY.
You gotta understand employees have absolutely no loyalty to you if you don't pay them well. If the competitors are offering 20% extra you'd bet your ass your entire staff will go work for the competition. I was a gullible 20 year old kid once and I stayed at the company that was overworking me and underpaying me until one day I had enough and opened my eyes.
To anyone reading this, that douchebag CEO doesn't even know your name, let alone care about your presence. You're replaceable in their eyes. Please enjoy and live your life. Working extra hard doesn't mean a damn thing. They see you as a robot they can work to death and replace with a younger version when you're expired.
