It’s been said. We need higher wages. Better labor laws. Healthier work environments. Lots of things have been said. Government knows we want these things. Employers know we want more money. Nothings changed. So now what?
I mean let me me lay this out. What keeps this country running? Well, what did we keep open during the shutdown? Fast food. Grocery. Retail. Blue collar jobs. Jobs that pay unlivable wages…… sorry at this point my mind was overwhelmed with the fucked up shit in the 21st century.
Let’s pick up here.
People who run America are paid the least and treated the shittiest. Americans love getting fast food but yet despise the employees working to give them their food. Oh but when the employees leave , and they no longer can get their food in 3 minutes, they also despise that. It’s an absolute mind fuck. “We need you to help us run the country but you’re not gonna make enough to live by yourself or have nice things or feed yourself well”. HOW DOES THIS MAKE SENSE? HOW ARE WE NOT AT DOORS DEMANDING CHANGE??
It’s $1300 for a studio in my city. I work building new houses costing a million dollars. I make $2000 a month.
Some rich mfs are gonna be chilling in these houses, while the people that built them are still out here barely getting by. And the few people at the top of the company make the most money. Just because they’re at the top and feel important. HUHHH?? HOW IS THIS REAL LIFE? I mean seriously sometimes I really really do think this feels like a nightmare.
All these things are pretty well known and acknowledged. BUT NOTHING CHANGES. SO WHAT DO WE DO???? It’s quite obvious just asking isn’t working. And we can sit on our asses and keep playing along, wishing about change …..nothing will change though. Action is needed and needed fast.
