What do you envision for “The Antiwork Times” (final name TBD)

To preface this, I was a journalist laid off in 2019 and haven't had a full-time job in the industry since. I did have a PR job for about 18 months and was laid off again at the end of 2022, so yeah, I've been unemployed and getting by on freelance work. XXX So I love Jacobin, it's likely the closest publication politically to this subreddit, but it's a bit theoretical and possibly too “scary” for most people. What if there were a publication that describes the horrors of this stage of capitalism from the bottom up, in the simplest terms, explaining how events of the past pushed us to where we are now? We often see cracks of our sad reality slip through various publications, from the New York Times, Insider to CNBC, but mostly by happenstance. The Antiwork Times, final name TBD, could capture things we know to be true but are never reported.

For example, looking at the economy and its trends through labor terms, taking into account quality of life. A series about people who took on their horrible bosses, and what happened as a result. Interviews with workplace attorneys providing practical advice. Trend pieces about what horrible crap to expect at work next.

Reading this subreddit is always illuminating, and I see potential there to build off what people post here into something journalistic.

If there is a publication that accomplishes the above, please do let me know. Otherwise, what would you like to see in The Antiwork Times, final name TBD?
