I feel like this would be good with some upper limits and obviously a minimum wage would still need to be in place for those who's work isn't justified by a cost/savings. Hard to quantify how much a janitor is saving you while employing them earns you nothing.
To clarify, not saying janitors deserve minimum wage, I personally think they are some of the most important members of the work force, keeping sickness down as well as a generally more pleasant work environment thanks to trash cans empty toilets cleaned and toilet paper restocked, tabletops and spills. These guys are the real heroes of a workspace.
But as said they wouldn't benefit much at least not as far as I can see from such a law.
I was wondering what would be some counter arguments to this? Also how many would actually agree with it?
