I’m curious as to what the normal amount of PTO other companies give. As well as unpaid time off.
I work for Morgan & Morgan (#1 hypocrites in the US) and you don’t start earning PTO until 3 months in, after that you only earn about 5 days off for the whole year. There is no unpaid time off unless you or someone you love is legitimately dying. We get little to no time off for holidays.
I understand that PTO is not required under federal law, it’s more so just a an optional benefit for employers but for a law office that deals with unfair employment and labor cases I feel like they would be more fair when it comes to labor fairness. Like I said, #1 hypocrites in the US.
