I've been working customer and food service for 4 years and I'm exhausted. I'm looking into something completely different, and a local boat place has openings for fiberglass technician. they train you there, the pay is $7 more than I get now, they have health benefits, etc. it sounds like my way out of food service but I don't know what I should be asking or looking for with something like this. what should I look for? what are red flags when you're new to a completely different trade? alternatively, any fiberglass technicians here care to give any pointers? is it worth it?
