Mine actually happened off the clock. I'd just finished up a 60+ hour week with a manual labor warehouse job (volunteering for extra shifts to be a “good employee”), and drove out to the river for some swimming before I went home. I'd been looking forward to it all week, the sun would be out and the temperature was perfect.
I was only in the water for an hour before being completely exhausted.
all that labor, all that “company dedication”, andd I couldn't even properly enjoy my leisurely outing. Since then, I'll do what I'm obligated to, and nothing more
