Who in their right mind thinks it's OK for companies like The Predictive Index to be allowed to operate in the USA at this point. Why are people complacent and comfortable with MULTIPLE corporations collecting and using psychometric data about them. Why are we not refusing these tests more en masse? This is something we can collectively push back on and need to as our rights around this are already protected. We can't allow this type of data collection to be normalized, especially given how rapidly our world is changing with the advent of AI-driven data tools.
It is too easy for this data to be misused, and no manager can sit there and justify “improvements to productivity” as a requirement to collect such personal data around us. Notwithstanding the potential violations to the ADA and the plethora of states with anti-discrimination laws.
Come on people, push back against this one. We have to, it's not OK for corporations to dig in to our psychiatry as a measure of how well we are going to do our jobs.
