What’s With Customers Who Just Complain About Super Mild Inconveniences?

I work in a high end “boujie” boutique and deal with entitled rich airheads on a daily basis; but my most recent encounter I find kind of hilarious and wanted to share with y'all. Recently, I had a customer call to complain that her online order of a jumpsuit. It had creases in it from being folded.. which she found to be just such an injustice to her that we dare fold clothes to get it shipped? She was genuinely super upset about it and notified me that she would be sending it back because it was folded. And I was like okay like go ahead? She truly wanted me to apologize that we had to fold her clothes into a box to send to her. At the end of the phone call, she said she called to “just let me know”. I really hate types to do this because…

I really hate types to do this because it just tells me they lack any emotional regulation, similar to a child even tho this woman is 50+. It really sounds like a personal problem that you can't deal with the fact your clothes were folded to get to your home. How else is it supposed to get shipped to you?? If it mattered THAT much, maybe you should've brought your lazy ass into the store so it would be steamed and fresh for you? Isn't it common sense things need to be folded to become smaller to be shipped in a box? I'm a retail associate. I am not your therapist to call because you're so pressed your $400 jumpsuit had some wrinkles in it. Iron it? Steam it? I just don't understand what goes through people's heads when they go out of their way to call a shop to just vent? Don't you have friends for that? What am I to say other than “okay well send it back to us”? I refuse to tell customers , especially the rich entitled assholes I deal with on the daily, “I'm sorry” when they have a super mild inconvenience in their privileged lives. Why do I need to get on hand and feet when ya'll have no concept of reality outside of your bubble? These people will spend more in one transaction than I have in my bank account so its really hard for me to care.

Any super entitled customer stories y'all have to share? I'm really wearing thin dealing with these dumbos ffs. Anyone relate?
