Antiwork

When did becoming a salaried employee become an excuse for your company to run you into the ground?

When I was hired on, I was told that occasionally when things were busy I would have to work around 50 hours a week, but I would be working 40 most of the time. I’m at week 8 of 60+ hours a week with no end in sight. I just refused to take on another project that I have absolutely no bandwidth for. I’ve had radio silence from everyone all day about it. I want to say I’m worried about losing my job but honestly I don’t give a fuck at this point. And if they were to fire me they would be fucked, there’s literally no one who does what I do who can pick my work up. About 600k in contracts would go down the toilet if they fired me, so your move bitches. So cheers to not giving a fuck and wish me luck while I look…
