Just left my job for a new job. I’m returning my old job’s equipment. It’s all wiped down, packed up pretty in the boot of the car and ready to go. The recipient is ready to receive the item today and I’m free to go whenever. I don’t want this equipment in the house anymore. They were tracking audio/video through my personal cell (literally wtf and also a huge reason why I left) who knows what other software they have on the official machines.
But the thing is, I still haven’t received a payment (travel expenses) from over a month ago. The HR person already reached out to me recently to reassure me that I was getting my money. But nothing yet.
Isn’t it ridiculous (in addition to the crime) how they take all the time in the world to return something owed to their employees but want their things back ASAP?
