Billionaires need to convince one or two of their colleagues to help them influence something, that something being politics or religion, or social movements. Where as if the average person wanted to influence change they would need hundreds of thousands maybe even millions of people's resources to compete with the resources of a few billionaires and organizing a few billionaires for common goals is a lot easier than organizing Thousands.
