I had worked for Starbucks for 5 years prior to getting a desk job. I was so used to running around like crazy getting different things done. Now, I am nowhere near as busy. I enjoy being busy. I feel that if anyone sees that I’m not busy all the time that I’ll get into trouble or they will think I’m of no use and get rid of me. Most of the days it is slow while some days a moderately busy. Is that just cooperate culture? Does everyone just pretend they’re busy and actually just do nothing?
I don’t know why I connect being busy and productive to success…
