Seriously I just saw a post giving out about shoplifters where everyone was defending the corporation and it left me totally baffled, like corporations are not our friends, they destroy millions in unsold stock every year, they pay us slave wages and overwork us while hiking up the price of products.
Yet it’s the people who are stealing, who corporations lose about 0.6% of stock to every year that are the problem? People who are mostly on the poverty line and are just trying to survive? Ffs nobody is stealing baby food because they just feel like it
I don’t understand it’s a subreddit about retail hell, retail is hell specifically because of how horribly retail companies treat their employees and customers, I thought this was common knowledge
It feel’s against the entire point of the subreddit tbh, I’m sure there’s plenty of subreddits for licking corporate balls so why not join them
